What is included in my trip?

Our trips include return travel by executive coach, guided walking/coach tour, services of an experienced and friendly tour guide, complementary map and free time. On weekend breaks, we include accommodation and breakfast and then our European Magic includes more such as tickets for Salzburg Castle.

Would my documents be posted or sent by email?

When youmake an online ticket, an automated booking confirmation with all details willbe sent to your email. We do not usually sent printed tickets by post.

Where do we stay?

On weekend breaks and European Magic tours, we choose the best possible accommodation, which would meet our passenger’s standards. We usually stay in hotels that even though they may not be in the city centre, are within easy access to the main attractions. Each accommodation is detailed on each tour page.
Our accommodation range from 2-4 star hotels to 5-stars city centre hostels.

What level of comfort can I expect during my tour?

Our accommodation are the best based on the price paid. We detailed all the accommodation types in each tour so you can familiarize yourself with the tour prior to joining in. We use modern executive coaches which are regularly checked by the coach company. Coaches are equipped with dvd entertainment facilities and toilets.

What type of transportation is used?

How much free time do I get?

We understand that all our passengers want to enjoy free time at the places visited to eat, shop or sightsee at leisure. Therefore we accommodate enough free time without compromising our walking/coach tours.

Is tipping included?

Tipping is not included and not compulsory. However, feel free to thank your guide and/or driver for the services with a small tip!

What food is included?

Our day trips do not include meals however; we accommodate enough time for our passengers to eat during their free time. On our weekend breaks, we include continental breakfasts. During our European Magic tour, we also include a Christmas dinner and another dinner later during the tour.

Do you cater for vegetarian, vegan, gluten intolerance or halal/kosher dietary requirements?

During our weekend break and European Magic tour, we offer continental breakfast, which is the standard offer from our hotels. If you are allergic or follow a religious diet, please let us know so we can advise the hotel prior the tour to accommodate your meals.

For dietary requirements for the Christmas dinner and second dinner included on our European Magic tour, please contact us with your requirements so we can accommodate.

Does your European Magic tour include international air flights?

No, we do not include any flights during our European Magic tour.

Do I need to book my own accommodation prior/after my tour?

Indigo does not organise pre/post accommodation though if you need any help in deciding where would be the best area or hotel to stay, please contact us and we will be happy to help.

Can you help me with Schengen visas?

We do not offer Schengen visa assistance. However, we have gathered many of the frequently asked questions and general information that you may find quite useful. Please check our Visa page for more information.

Do I get my Schengen visa documents automatically?

No. We will need to notify of these required documents. After your booking, please email: info@indigotravel.uk.com soliciting your visa documents.

Do you accept children aboard?

On our weekend day trips and breaks, we do accept children of a certain age up, usually from 7 years old onwards. Please check with us prior to booking if your child may be able to join our tour.

On European Magic tour, we can only accept children over the age of 14 years old.

What are your terms and conditions?

Why do you need my contact details when I book?

We will only ask name, nationality, telephone number and email for our day trips. We may need to ask further details for our longer tours. The tour guide will need your contact details in case an emergency happens during the tour such as getting lost, loss of luggage, etc.


After booking

When will I receive my documents?

You will receive a booking confirmation to your email soon after you have booked.

How much money should I bring?

You should weight what expenses you may have during the tour such as meals, entrances, souvenir and other shopping. As a general rule about €40 per day will be enough to cover the most essential. Spending is a personal decision, we strongly recommend researching about local expenditures (cost of a coffee for example) as it may bring to light more accurate costs for you.


Preparing for your trip

Passports

Make sure to check each country requirements for entry. Most countries ask at least 6 months validity on your passport by the time you have left the country.
Also make sure you have enough blank pages for stamps.

Travel Insurance

It is essential that passengers acquire a travel insurance prior to joining our European Magic tour. We recommend www.worldnomads.com as they have very competitive prices and have been recommended by companies such as TourRadar and Lonely Planet.

Pacing Advice

For our weekend Breaks and European Magic, it is essential for you to check the weather before packing in order to be ready. Even as weather prediction may change drastically during the tour, you can have a general idea of what to expect.
