ITINERARY

Morning

In the morning we visit the city of Canterbury, one of the top tourist attractions in England, and for very good reasons. The medieval centre is simply gorgeous, while the cathedral that towers above it is one of the most impressive you’ll see anywhere in Europe.

The Church of England could not have a more pleasant and imposing mother church. Your tour leader will invite you to visit the great cathedral, or you can simply take a stroll and enjoy this fine city’s other attractions.

Afternoon

After lunch we visit Leeds Castle, which surrounded by 500 acres of parkland and gardens, and set in the middle of a natural lake, has been described as ‘the loveliest castle in the world’. The castle was once a Royal residence for six of England’s medieval Queens and also King Henry VIII. It’s now one of the most famous and most visited castles in the world.

After visiting the castle, you can enjoy the beautiful gardens, a maze and great areas of open space.
